Self catering holiday chalets, located on Sundowner Holiday Park, Hemsby, near Great Yarmouth. Fully furnished and equipped. Chalets sleep 6, with 2 bedrooms (1 double & 1 twin or bunk-beds), lounge with a sofa bed and dining area, bathroom with W.C. and shower over bath and fully equipped kitchen. Electricity is by £1 coin meter. Linen and towels are NOT supplied. Well maintained site with shop, children amusement arcade, laundrette and club house with entertainment and hot meal. Close to a beautiful beach and many tourist attractions.
We welcome well-behaved pets wholeheartedly. There is a small charge of £15 per pet per week. We do ask that they won't be left on their own in the chalets or in the care of young children. The park's (and our) policy is that dogs should be kept on a lead while on public areas. We would also like to ask that everyone would clean up after their pet. We know (from experience...) that it is not always possible to keep sleepy pets off comfy furniture, so we would ask our two legged guests to kindly bring throws or blankets to cover sofas.
There are many fantastic (and safe) 'walkies' in the area, from Winterton Valley Dunes to Fritton woods or the beaches. Norfolk is generally pet friendly, but there are some summer restrictions on the more public beaches (like Great Yarmouth or Gorleston) so look out for the signs. Just ask, and we can tell you about our favourite dog walking routes, where we take Kelev, our pooch.

Rooms with a view, in the beautiful Shropshire Hills Bed and full English breakfast with our own free range eggs, from £23 per person plus £1.50 per night per dog. Rooms have TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We ask our guests not to smoke in the bedrooms. Miles of lovely walking country and good pubs within easy each for eating out.
Accommodation is one double room, one twin-bedded room and one single, all with private bathrooms. We also have one ensuite room but we do not allow dogs in this.
We are right on a bridleway where dogs can be exercised and there is usually an empty field where they can be let off the lead. There are kennels available for dogs who prefer it. We accept any well-behaved dogs. We have three Gordon setters and three English Springers and the guests dogs usually meet up with them. We find they all get on very well, but obviously we do not welcome dogs which their owners know to be aggressive and unfriendly. Please email us to find out more, and tell us about your dog.
