The 5-Minute Veterinary Consultant: Canine and Feline (2nd edition)
This is a very useful comprehensive reference guide to diagnosing and treating health problems commonly found in dogs and cats. It is easy to look up cases, and the information is presented concisely. There is a very useful appendix which includes toxicology and parasite identification tables, as well as a drug formulary. This book is geared to veterinary students, practising vets and other small animal health specialists, but is also of interest to kennel owners with some knowledge of veterinary care.

This is an extremely useful reference guide for students of veterinary nursing, which will serve them well once they have qualified. It is concise, easy to understand, and information is easy to locate. There is help with revision for vet nursing exams, and there are tips for nurses in practice. This is not a fully comprehensive guide to veterinary nursing, but it gives very good coverage of the main areas.
